It is He who sends down water from the sky of which you drink, and which nourishes the plants you feed your cattle, 10 He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. 11 And He subjected the night and the day for you – and the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected to His command; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 12 On the earth He has fashioned for you objects of various hues: there is certainly a sign in that for people who pay heed. 13 It is He who has subjected the sea to you, so that you eat of its soft flesh and bring up from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing their course through it in order that you seek His bounty and give thanks. 14 And He placed mountains as anchors in the earth so that it may not shake along with you, and streams and roads for you to find course. 15 and waymarks; and by the stars they are guided. 16 Is He then Who creates like him who does not create? Do you not then mind? 17 Even if you wanted to count up all of God's blessings, you would not be able to. God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 18 God knows all that you conceal and all that you reveal. 19 Those whom they call upon beside Allah have created nothing; rather, they themselves were created; 20 they are dead, not living, and they do not [even] know when they will be raised from the dead! 21
