Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
