And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our revelations are recited to them, the unbelievers say to the faithful ones, "Which of us is more prosperous?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
