And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
