The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 Who are humble in their prayers, 2 who turn away from idle talk; 3 And who are givers of poor-rate, 4 And they who guard their private parts 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors - 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 These are indeed the inheritors. 10 Who will inherit Paradise, and live in it for ever. 11 We created man from an essence of clay, 12 then We made him, a drop, in a secure receptacle (the womb). 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 Then after that you will most surely die. 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 And indeed We have created above you seven heavens (one over the other), and We are never unaware of the creation. 17 We send down water from the sky in determined measure, and store it up in the earth; and We have power to drain it away. 18 Then We produced for you therewith gardens of palms and vines wherein are many fruits for you, and of them you eat, 19 The tree that grows on Mount Sinai yields oil and seasoning for those who eat. 20 There is a lesson for you concerning cattle. We provide you with drink from their bellies and many other benefits. You can consume them as meat. 21 And on them, and on ships you are carried. 22
