He it is Who hath created for you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense? 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
