And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
