Blest be He Who hath placed big stars in the heaven, and hath placed therein a lamp and a moon enlightening. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 And the bondmen of the Compassionate are those who walk upon the earth meekly and when the ignorants address them, they say peace 63 who pass the night prostrating and standing to their Lord. 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and worketh righteous work. Then these! for them Allah shall change their vices into virtues. Verily Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 And those who do not give false evidence, and if they come across unbecoming talk ignore it and pass by in a sedate way; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
