Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light! 61 And it is He Who hath appointed the night and the day a succession, for him who desireth to consider or desireth to be grateful. 62 The worshipers of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth, and when the ignorant address them say: 'Peace' 63 And those who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing. 64 And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering; 65 Indeed, it is an evil abode and evil dwelling-place." 66 And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 of sin-doubled shall be the chastisement for him on the Resurrection Day, and he shall dwell therein humbled, 69 Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, 70 And whoever repents and does good deeds – so he has inclined towards Allah with repentance as was required. 71 And those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by frivolity, they pass by with dignity; 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 And those who say: our Lord bestow on us coolness of eyes from our wives and our offspring, and make us unto the God-fearing a pattern. 74 These are the ones who will be rewarded with lofty mansions in Paradise, for their steadfastness. They will be received therein with greetings of welcome and salutations of peace. 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied (the Truth), therefor there will be judgment. 77
