The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is that comes in the night? 2 The star of piercing brightness; 3 There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 So man will neither have any strength nor any aide. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 So bear with unbelievers with patience, and give them respite for a while. 17
Almighty God's Truth.
