The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ "Maintain just measure in your business and do not cause loss to others. 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 They said, 'Thou art merely one of those that are bewitched; 185 You are only a human being like ourselves. Indeed we think you are a liar. 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said, “My Lord is Well Aware of what you do.” 188 Then they belied him; wherefore there laid hold of them the torment of day of shadow. Verily it was the torment of a Mighty Day. 189 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
