The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
