۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "There is a small group of people 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
