The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
