Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds which carry dust particles, 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 And the ships that glide with ease. 3 by the angels which distribute the affairs, 4 Verily the promise made to you is true: 5 And verily the Requital is surely to befall. 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 Indeed, you are in differing speech. 8 and are turned away from him who is turned. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 and will be told, "Suffer the torment which you wanted to experience immediately". 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Accepting the rewards given by their Lord; they were indeed virtuous before this. 16 They slept very little during the night 17 and would pray for forgiveness from their innermost hearts; 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
