The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
