And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
