The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
