The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. 178 I ask of you no wage for this; 179 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who give less (than the due). 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" 184 They said, 'Thou art merely one of those that are bewitched; 185 You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar. 186 So cause thou a fragment of the heaven to fall upon us, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 But they denied him, and We seized them with the torment of the Day of Shadowing (when the cloud had rained down fire). It was indeed the torment of a terrible day! 189 Surely, in this is indeed a sign; but most of them would not believe: 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
