There is a sign in the dead earth for them which We quicken, and produce from it grain which they eat. 33 And We have placed therein gardens of the date-palm and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein, 34 That they may eat of His fruit. And their hands have not produced it, so will they not be grateful? 35 Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not! 36 And a sign for them is the night, We withdraw therefrom the day, and behold, they are in darkness. 37 And [they have a sign in] the sun: it runs in an orbit of its own [and] that is laid down by the will of the Almighty, the All-Knowing; 38 We have ordained phases for the moon until finally it becomes like an old date-stalk. 39 It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon, nor does the night surpass the day; and each one of them floats in its orbit. 40 And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the laden Ark (of Noah). 41 and [that] We create for them things of a similar kind, on which they may embark [in their travels]; 42 Had We wanted, We could have drowned them and nothing would have been able to help or rescue them 43 unless it be a mercy from us, and as an enjoyment for a season. 44 And when it is said to them: "Beware of that which is before you (worldly torments), and that which is behind you (torments in the Hereafter), in order that you may receive Mercy (i.e. if you believe in Allah's Religion Islamic Monotheism, and avoid polytheism, and obey Allah with righteous deeds). 45 Not a Sign comes to them from among the Signs of their Lord, but they turn away therefrom. 46 And when it is said to them: Spend out of what Allah has given you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Shall we feed him whom, if Allah please, He could feed? You are in naught but clear error. 47 The unbelievers say, "When will the Day of Judgment come if what you say is at all true?" 48 They await only but a single Saihah (shout, etc.), which will seize them while they are disputing! 49 Then they would not be able to make a will, or go back to their people. 50

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
