The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21
