The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
