1/2 Hizb 45

۞ "Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped- 22 Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell; 23 and detain them there; they will be called to account. 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission 26 and advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 27 They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right." 28 They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!” 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. 31 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 32 So, they will become partners in punishment. 33 Lo! thus deal We with the guilty. 34 For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride, 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 And ye shall be required not except for that which ye have been doing; 39 But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah,- 40 [in the hereafter,] theirs shall be a sustenance which they will recognize 41 Fruits; and they will be honoured. 42 in the Gardens of Bliss 43 Facing one another on thrones. 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 white, sparkling (wine), a delight to the drinkers. 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes. 48 As if they were eggs carefully protected. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 One of them will say, "I had a companion who asked me, 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 ‘That when we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, that we will either be rewarded or punished?’ 53 (A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down?" 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! 56 for had it not been for my Sustainer's favour, I would surely be [now] among those who are given over [to suffering]! 57 Then, are we not to die 58 "Except our first death, and we shall not be punished? (after we have entered Paradise)." 59 This is indeed the mighty triumph, 60 For the like of this, then, let them labour, those who labour [in God's way]! 61 Is such [a paradise] the better welcome - or the [hellish] tree of deadly fruit? 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of Shayatin (devils); 65 and they [who are lost in evil] are indeed bound to eat thereof, and to fill their bellies therewith. 66 And behold, above all this they will be confounded with burning despair! 67 Then shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 and they run in their footsteps. 70 And verily most of the men of old went astray before them, 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 Look, then how was the end of those who had been warned, 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74
