We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
