So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 When he ran away to a ship completely laden, 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 (Muhammad), ask them, "Do daughters belong to your Lord and sons to them? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "Every single one of us has his place assigned: 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 we would certainly be true servants of God." 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So turn thou aside from them for a season. 174 And watch them, for they will soon see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 But when it shall descend in their court, evil shall then be the morning of the warned ones. 177 So turn (away) from them for a while, 178 and see [them for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 and praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
