Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
