Observest thou not those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah? whither are they turning away! 69 Those who belie the Book and that with which We sent Our Messengers shall soon know. 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship] 73 Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74 That was because you had been exulting in the earth without any right (by worshipping others instead of Allah and by committing crimes), and that you used to rejoice extremely (in your error). 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned. 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
