▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
