Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily, [in the life to come] the tree of deadly fruit 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
