Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha'. Mim. 1 The sending down of the Book is from Allah, the Almighty, the Wise. 2 In the heavens and the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for the believers. 3 and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, 4 And in the alternation of night and day, and the provision (rain) that Allah sends down from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the turning about of the winds (i.e. sometimes towards the east or north, and sometimes towards the south or west etc., sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain etc., and sometimes bringing the torment), are signs for a people who understand. 5 Those are the signs of God that We recite to thee in truth; in what manner of discourse then, after God and His signs, will they believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar, 7 He hears the Signs of Allah rehearsed to him, yet is obstinate and lofty, as if he had not heard them: then announce to him a Penalty Grievous! 8 As for he who knows something of Our verses and then mocks them for those there is a humiliating punishment. 9 Before them is Hell; naught will avail them of that which they earned, nor those whom they took for patrons beside Allah. Theirs shall be a torment mighty. 10 Such is Our guidance; those who reject their Lord's revelations shall suffer a woeful punishment. 11
