Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve and hinder others from the way of Allah, He shall send their works astray. 1 As for those who attained to faith and did righteous works and believed in what was revealed to Muhammad -- which indeed is the Truth from their Lord -- Allah has remitted their evil deeds and has set their condition right. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood and because those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus Allah coineth their similitudes for mankind. 3 If you encounter the disbelievers in a battle, strike-off their heads. Take them as captives when they are defeated. Then you may set them free as a favor to them, with or without a ransom, when the battle is over. This is the Law. Had God wanted, He could have granted them (unbelievers) victory, but He wants to test you through each other. The deeds of those who are killed for the cause of God will never be without virtuous results. 4 He will guide them and repair their condition; 5 And He will admit them into Paradise – they have been made familiar with it. 6 O ye who believe! if ye shall succour Allah, He shall succour you and make firm your feet. 7 But the unbelievers shall be the destroyed losers. He will bring their deeds to nothing. 8 It is because they are averse to what God has revealed that He has rendered their deeds futile. 9 ۞ So did they not travel in the land to see what sort of fate befell those who preceded them? Allah poured ruin upon them; and for the disbelievers are several like it. 10 That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector. 11
