Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 by the ships which smoothly sail on the oceans, 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 he is turned away from [the truth] who is destined to be so turned away. 9 Destroyed are the falsifiers 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And in the morning they asked forgiveness. 18 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non-beggar. 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
