▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 Therein are maidens of modest gaze, whom neither a man nor a jinn had ever touched before them. 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
