▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
