▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
