Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allah. To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs [all] praise, and He is over all things competent. 1 It is He who created you. One of you is an unbeliever, and one of you a believer; and God sees the things you do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He formed you, then made goodly your forms, and to Him is the ultimate resort. 3 He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. He knows all that you conceal and all that you reveal. God is aware of what is in your hearts. 4 Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment. 5 this, because time and again there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, but they [always] replied, "Shall mere mortal men be our guides?" And so they denied the truth and turned away. But God was not in need [of them]: for God is self-sufficient, ever to be praised. 6 The unbelievers think that they will never be raised up. Say: 'By my Lord, yes indeed, you shall assuredly be raised up! Then you shall be told of all that you have done. That is easy for Allah' 7 So believe in Allah and in His Messenger and in the Light that We have sent down. Allah is fully aware of what you do. 8 The Day that He assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly,- that will be a Day of mutual loss and gain (among you), and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness,- He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme Achievement. 9 And they who disbelieve and belie Our Signs! those shall be fellows of the Fire, as abiders therein; a hapless destination. 10
