The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O you enveloped in your cloak! 1 Arise and warn! 2 Thy Lord magnify, 3 And your garments purify! 4 and flee from the statues! 5 And do not favour others in order to receive more. 6 and for the sake of your Lord, be patient. 7 When the Trumpet is sounded, 8 So that is a tough day. 9 Not of ease, for disbelievers. 10 Leave to Me the one, whom I have created all by Myself, 11 And give him vast riches, 12 and sons that stand in witness. 13 And made life smooth and comfortable for him! 14 and who still desires more. 15 Nay, verily, it is against Our messages that he knowingly, stubbornly sets himself 16 I will make a distressing punishment overtake him. 17 He reflected, and then determined 18 and woe to him; how he plotted! 19 yea, he destroys himself, the way he meditates! 20 Then he considered [again]; 21 then he frowned and scowled, 22 Then he turned back and was arrogant 23 Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old; 24 This is nothing but the word of a mortal!" 25 I will cast him into Hell-fire 26 - Ah, what will convey unto thee what that burning is! - 27 It leaveth naught; it spareth naught 28 making [all truth] visible to mortal man. 29 Over it are nineteen. 30 We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire. We have specified their number only as a trial for those who are bent on denying the truth, so that those who were given the Book might gain in certainty, and those who believe might increase in faith -- and so that neither those who have been given the Scripture nor the believers might have any doubts, and that those sick at heart and those who deny the truth might ask, "What does God mean by this parable?" In this way, God lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. And none knows the forces of your Lord but He. This is but a Reminder for man. 31

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
