No! By the moon 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
