NAY, but consider the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning unto humankind 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 about the sinners. 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until death approached us". 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
