Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection 1 Nay! I swear by the self-accusing soul. 2 Deemest man that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. 4 Aye! man desireth that he may sin before him. 5 he asks, "When is this Day of Resurrection to be?" 6 When the sight is dazed, 7 And the moon will be eclipsed. 8 And the sun and the moon shall be joined. 9 On that Day man will say: "Where (is the refuge) to flee?" 10 But there is nowhere to take refuge: 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat that Day. 12 On that day, people will be informed of all that they had done and all that they were supposed to do. 13 Aye! man against himself shall be an enlightenment. 14 even though he might make up excuses. 15 Do not move your tongue with it to make haste with it, 16 Verily upon us is the collecting thereof and the reciting thereof. 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 and then, it will be for Us to make its meaning clear. 19 By no means! Verily ye love the Herein. 20 and neglect the Hereafter. 21 Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). 22 Looking at their Lord (Allah); 23 And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted, 24 believing that a crushing calamity is about to strike them. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 And it is asked: "Is there any reciter of charms and amulets?" 27 And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death); 28 And one shank is entangled with the other shank. 29 To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
