Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 Till an appointed term, 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
