Surely We have sent down the Koran on thee, a sending down; 23 so be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and obey not one of them, sinner or unbeliever. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And bow in homage part of the night, and glorify Him far into the night. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 It is We Who creared them and made them firm of make. And whenever We list, We can replace them with others like unto them. 28 Verily this is an admonition; then whosoever will, may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 And you do not please except that Allah please, surely Allah is Knowing, Wise; 30 He admits whoever He will into His grace and has prepared a painful punishment for the evil doers. 31
