Say (O Prophet): “Allah suffices as a witness between me and you. He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. As for those who believe in falsehood and are engaged in infidelity with Allah, it is they who will be the losers.” 52 They demand you to bring upon them torment immediately. Had not the time been fixed, the torment would certainly have approached them. It would have come to them suddenly and they would not have even realized how it came. 53 They ask you to hasten on the torment. And verily! Hell, of a surety, will encompass the disbelievers. 54 On the Day when the torment (Hell-fire) shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and it will be said: "Taste what you used to do." 55 My believing servants, My land is vast. Worship Me alone. 56 Every soul shall taste of death; then unto Us ye shall be returned. 57 And those who believe and work righteous works - them We shall surely settle in lofty dwellings of the Garden whereunder the rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers. 58 Those who persevere in patience, and put their trust, in their Lord and Cherisher. 59 And many creatures walk upon the earth that do not carry their own sustenance; Allah provides the sustenance to them and to you; and only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 60 If you ask them: 'Who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?' They will say: 'Allah'; How perverted they are! 61 Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and straitens it for whom (He wills). Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything. 62 And thus it is: if thou ask them, "Who is it that sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless?" - they will surely answer, "God." Say thou: "[Since this is so,] all praise is due to God [alone]!" But most of them will not use their reason: 63
