Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 excusing or warning, 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 Till a limit known? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
