Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 excusing or warning, 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 till a known term decreed? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 For the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
