The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 Then press forward as in a race, 4 Then those who regulate the affair. 5 On the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world], 6 And there will follow it the next blast. 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 and eyes will be humbly cast down. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 They say: “That will then be a return with a great loss!” 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 and lo, they will all be in the open plain. 14 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 15 His Lord called out to him by the sacred valley of Tuwa: 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 And say, "Hast thou the will to purify thyself; 18 that I might guide you to your Lord, so that you fear (Him)." 19 He showed him the mighty sign, 20 But he rejected (the truth) and disobeyed. 21 Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 Then he gathered and cried aloud, 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 So God seized him with the chastisement of the Last World and the First. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
