[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 preferring the present life, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
