The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
