The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
