The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
